A 25-year-old was shot Saturday night in Wakefield and died at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, police say.
The man’s family identified the victim as Aneudy Santamaria. They say he was shot after getting into an argument outside his home at 689 233rd St.
First responders took Santamaria from the home to the hospital where he died.
His family said he was introverted, kept to himself and always happy.
"This is the most difficult situation. We are completely destroyed, no one was expecting this,” said Luis Almonte, who said he was Santamaria’s brother.
        No arrests have been made.
