        Student and driver injured as school bus crashes into pharmacy in Wayne

        The student and driver complained of pain, but their injuries appeared to be minor.

        Police say a Wayne school bus crashed into a building on Black Oak Ridge Road, injuring the driver and one student on board.
        The accident occurred around 7:28 a.m. The bus struck two vehicles stopped in the left turn lane and continued into the intersection. The bus then struck a traffic signal and crashed into the front of the Black Oak Pharmacy, causing significant damage.
        The student and driver complained of pain, but their injuries appeared to be minor. The student was released to their parents at the scene, while the bus driver was transported to a hospital by the Wayne First Aid Squad.
        The drivers of the other two vehicles involved did not report any injuries.
