Friday is another warm day with highs getting into the 70s for the majority of the region.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- There will be plenty of sunshine at first on Friday, then clouds move in through the afternoon to evening hours. A storm system will be heading into the Northeast overnight Friday into Saturday, bringing some much-needed rain to the region. Expect batches of rain to move in on Friday morning, with breezy winds at times. There will be a concern with some low-lying areas seeing some ponding on the roadways and adjacent surfaces. Scattered showers, an isolated downpour and gusty winds are expected for the afternoon hours as the system pulls away.
- Sunday is much nicer looking but will have breezy winds through day. At least there will be plenty of sunshine coming down with some passing clouds.
- Wrapping up the month of April next week will involve another temperature warm-up! Temps could get into the low 80s Wednesday afternoon before a front comes by to cool us down going into May 1st on Thursday.
