Clouds and showers expected this weekend in the Hudson Valley

There will be plenty of sunshine at first on Friday, then clouds move in through the afternoon to evening hours. A storm system will be heading into the Northeast overnight Friday into Saturday, bringing some much-needed rain to the region. Expect batches of rain to move in on Friday morning, with breezy winds at times. There will be a concern with some low-lying areas seeing some ponding on the roadways and adjacent surfaces. Scattered showers, an isolated downpour and gusty winds are expected for the afternoon hours as the system pulls away.

Sunday is much nicer looking but will have breezy winds through day. At least there will be plenty of sunshine coming down with some passing clouds.
Wrapping up the month of April next week will involve another temperature warm-up! Temps could get into the low 80s Wednesday afternoon before a front comes by to cool us down going into May 1st on Thursday.
