Smoke update: Winds from the south will continue to spread some of the smoke into our area. This will not be an orange sky situation, but there could be a bit of a haze and some reduced air quality. We will continue to monitor.
Dry conditions continue throughout the overnight and into Friday as well. A combination of dry weather, low humidity (a lack of moisture in the air), and gusts could combine to make conditions where fires can easily start and spread. Stay vigilant and avoid outdoor burning.
Rain returns very late Friday into Saturday. Saturday is trending wet with showers throughout the day.
There is the opportunity for some of the showers to have some thunder and lightning within them as well as some moderate gusts. Sunday winds continue to pick up, but the dry weather returns, and it should be a pretty day.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear with a few clouds. Temperatures drop to the high 40s and low 50s. A slight breeze.
FRIDAY: Gorgeous once again! Sun and clouds. Very dry until the overnight with a scattered shower chance during the evening. Temps in the 60s and 70s.
SATURDAY: Rain moves in early, and we have multiple rounds of rain throughout the day. The possibility of some an isolated thunderstorm here or there. Rain amounts under an inch expected. Slight cool down, back into the middle to higher 60s.
SUNDAY: Gusty and drier. Sunshine and clouds. Highs in the lower 60s but feeling chillier due to gusts.
NEXT WEEK: Lovely temperatures!! Highs in the 60s and 70s, approaching 80 degrees at times. Maybe some rain chances midweek.
