The month of April is continuing what March wrapped up with - unseasonally warm with highs nearly 20 degrees above average.
Wednesday was another mild day as temperatures hit the 70s again across the lower Hudson Valley. White Plains saw a new record warm low temp for this morning of 55. Many spots started the day in the 60s.
Finishing up this Wednesday, we are tracking showers into tonight. The wet weather tapers off overnight into Thursday morning, but there will be drizzle and cloudy skies lingering for Thursday, so umbrellas will be needed out the door tomorrow.
The bigger story tomorrow will be temperatures, trending cooler all across the region. There will be a drop of around 30 degrees in a 24-hour period! But temperatures will start to bounce back for Friday. Conditions in the 60s will be likely across the board, and couple that with a mix of sun and clouds, we will be able to be out and about easily. There will be rather pleasant conditions for the Yankees' home opener on Friday afternoon in The Bronx.
