It looks like consistent snowfall that amps up for around dinnertime (think 6-10 p.m). During this time, we will experience heavy bands of snow that will bring some quick accumulations over a short period of time. This will taper off by midnight or 3 a.m.
Western CT might see between 4-8 inches with localized areas having the potential for more. It will depend on where the strongest bands set up for any overperformance of these totals. Some mixing is possible but mainly looks to be snow.
Monday morning feels-like temperatures will be in the single digits. Tuesday will be painfully cold, with temperatures feeling below zero across the board.
OVERNIGHT: Drying out. Lows in the high 20s and lower 30s. Mostly cloudy.
SUNDAY: High of 34, low of 18. Moderate to heavy snow.
MONDAY: High of 24, low of 6. MLK DAY Sunny but cold.
TUESDAY: High of 19, low of 7. Temps feel below zero in the morning. Brutal cold. Sun and clouds.
