        FORECAST:
Highs for your Friday will only be in the 30s. A weak Alberta clipper will sweep through the mid-Atlantic and bring some widespread snow showers and light accumulation to western Connecticut this afternoon and early Saturday. Slippery travel in some spots is possible for the Friday evening commute.
This clipper will quickly move offshore and interact with another storm offshore to produce some wind as it moves away. There is a risk of more snow showers early Saturday before the drier weather returns. Temperatures will be cold but the moisture will be minimal for our area. A general coating/trace up to 1 inch of snow likely through Fairfield and Litchfield Counties by Saturday morning.
The coldest air of the season will settle in for the weekend. Saturday's temperatures will top out in the middle 30s but at night, they will tumble down into the teens and single digits. Sunday and Monday's high temperatures will stay below freezing. Nighttime and morning wind chills could be near zero at times. Bundle up and layer up with the heavy coats and winter gear. More light snow is possible early on Christmas Eve before warmer air returns for the rest of the week. It will be seasonable, if not warmer and normal temperatures will return about a week from now.
