A 15-year-old boy was shot Thursday morning near East 171st Street and Third Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx, according to police.
Authorities said the shooting happened shortly before 9:30 a.m.
The FDNY said NYPD officers transported the teen to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police said they are searching for three people in connection with the shooting. No suspect descriptions were immediately available.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
