Residents in Clason Point lost electricity after smoke started spewing out of a manhole early Monday morning. According to the FDNY, they received a call about the manhole at 1112 Metcalfe Ave. at around 4:15 a.m. Con Edison said about 22 households are without power. People who live in those homes told News 12 they've been without power since 4:30 a.m. Some residents say power has returned, but others are still in the dark. One person was hurt and refused to be checked out on the scene, the FDNY said.
