Small Business Services says its emergency response unit has assessed and is actively supporting 21 commercial spaces along Bedford Park Boulevard and Webster Avenue after Monday night's water main break.
It's still unclear just how long it will take to restore services.
Crews were on the scene are working to make repairs on the 48-inch water main break.
Response teams told News 12 the gas and power were shut off to make the repairs safely.
News 12 crews observed that some businesses had some power as of 5 p.m. Wednesday night. It is unclear if all businesses are seeing power.
Some businesses are also without gas. It is still unclear if that had been restored. Con Edison says they have a temporary service center along Webster Avenue and Moshulu Parkway.
When News 12 called Con Edison to request an estimated restoration time, it said an update would be provided later Wednesday morning. The spokesperson noted gas restoration typically takes longer than electric.
News 12's Elly Morillo talks to the businesses along the busy corridor and shares how they are coping.
