Skimming devices have been found on card readers, ATMs and gas pumps at several Norwalk businesses, prompting a scam alert this morning. The devices allow thieves to steal customers’ card information.

Police urge customers to inspect payment terminals before using them—checking for loose parts, unusual attachments or damaged keypads—and to use tap‑to‑pay whenever possible.
