Wild winds! Newark recorded 59 mph wind gust at 6:51p.m. on Tuesday. Today is expected to be windy again but gusts are not expected to be as high and its below criteria level.
It's a tale of two season between yesterday and today as we go from a thriller to a chiller this morning. It's another windy day with a winter-like chill at times. Sun will be limited with a northwest wind that will gust up near 40 mph at times. The morning will feature windchills in the 30s so break out those winter coats again. The high temperature will be in the low 50s but it will feel like the 40s for most of the day.
FORECAST:
Tonight: Mostly clear with a low around 42. Still breezy but gusts will be closer to 25mph.
Thursday and Friday look good with sunshine and temperatures in the 60s.
Next big weather story is temperatures near 80 degrees on Saturday which will be the first decent weekend day in four weekends.
