A shooting in Galloway near Stockton University prompted a temporary shelter-in-place at the school on Thursday.
Galloway Township police say a shooting occurred near the campus just before 1 p.m.
They say that one person was injured in the shooting and taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division for treatment.
Police are searching for two suspects who escaped the area in a white Honda CR-V. They say that one of the suspects is described as a white man with long blonde hair, wearing a green shirt.
The shelter-in-place at Stockton University
was lifted just after 4 p.m. School officials said that all classes and activities will be canceled for the rest of the day. A regular schedule will resume on Friday.
It was not immediately clear if any arrests have been made in the shooting.
