3h agoA Lakewood couple is now formally charged in the death of their 3-month-old daughter.
Ruben Santiago and Caitlin Gibson were first arrested in May after police responded to Pinehurst Drive for a report of an infant having trouble breathing.
The child later died at a hospital. The medical examiner determined the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.
Santiago and Gibson remain held at the Ocean County Jail, according to prosecutors.
