A man was killed and two others were injured in a two-car crash on Route 46 in Lodi overnight.
According to police reports, 37-year-old Adam Niesterowicz, the driver of a black Lexus, was standing outside his vehicle when he was struck by a silver Toyota SUV. Niesterowicz died at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Toyota sustained serious injuries but are expected to recover after being transported to a hospital.
No charges have been filed.
The incident, which occurred around 11 p.m. Sunday, temporarily closed Route 46 westbound. The road reopened just before 5 a.m.
