        Record warmth for Halloween followed by a chilly weekend

        NOW: Temperatures will be warmer on Thursday; some areas may approach or break record high temperatures with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
        NEXT: There is a good chance Connecticut will see more rain on Friday. After this fast warmup, temperatures will drop just as quickly over the weekend. The clocks fall back one hour Sunday night at 2 a.m. Temperatures at this time will be fall-like, with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s.
        THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, warm. High of 77.
        FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few early showers followed by sunshine. High of 75.
        SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 59.
