After a damp and cold start, a big cool down returns early this week. Highs will be 50s through Tuesday with lows in the 30s and low-40s. Frosty conditions could develop tonight as temperatures fall to the 30s under a mostly clear sky and calmer winds. People who have started planting should either cover their sensitive plants or temporarily bring them indoors due to the cold temperatures. Temperatures rise to near seasonable in the 60s on Wednesday with a few morning showers.
Weather conditions will be mainly dry, breezy with Spring temperatures in the 60s and low-70s for the second half of the week. Due to the stretch of dry weather, there is a risk of fire danger this week. This is something to monitor closely, given the current moderate drought, low humidity, and breezy conditions.
