WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
A clipper system moved just south of the Hudson Valley but clipped us with rain, and some snow showers this morning.
Temps were in the low to mid 30s, so that snow potential was possible. But, thankfully, we weren't cold enough to see any accumulation.
Drier skies and cold temperatures will move in for the rest of the day.
After a pleasant break on Thursday, another system approaches Friday.
The chance for rain is late in the day, with cloud cover hanging around all day Friday.
Rain showers taper off Saturday with drier and cooler conditions to follow for the rest of the weekend.
A large system could impact the region Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, which could impact travel.
Thanksgiving is trending drier with cooler temps and fair skies.
