FORECAST:
There's some much-needed rain coming our way, but it may also be heavy at times Wednesday into Thursday.
Showers and storms will be very widely scattered over the area from overnight into the morning.
Then they will be on and off for part of the Wednesday, with the heaviest hitting Wednesday night and Thursday.
Rainfall totals could reach 1 to 3 inches over parts of western Connecticut by Friday morning.
