        A Newark man has been charged in connection to a deadly crash in Hasbrouck Heights that killed a 57-year-old man and injured another, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
        Jose Sumba Astudillo, 32, was allegedly driving under the influence when he crashed into a divider on Route 46 early Sunday morning.
        Officials say that Astudillo initially told police he was a passenger in the vehicle. But investigators later discovered he was driving without a license, according to the prosecutor.
        Astudillo has been charged with multiple offenses, including vehicular homicide, driving while intoxicated, and hindering apprehension for allegedly lying to police.
