Four people, including three police officers, were in a shooting at an Irvington motel on Wednesday.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says Irvington police were called to 50 Ball St. – the address for the Gallery Holiday Motel – following a 911 call about a man with a gun.

Details about what happened when the officers arrived were not provided, but the prosecutor’s office says that three police officers and a woman were taken to Rutgers University Hospital for injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

Officials are calling the incident a “police-involved shooting.”
