President Trump’s Long Island visit draws protesters

Long Islanders lined the sides of Hempstead Turnpike Friday, protesting President Trump who was nearby for the Ryder Cup.

Protesters from Nassau and Suffolk counties lined Hempstead Turnpike in Farmingdale, a short distance from Bethpage Black where President Donald Trump was in attendance at the Ryder Cup.
Some counter-protesters gathered across the street.
The protests were largely peaceful.
Nassau police said they were without incident.
