Norwalk police say a man was arrested for the death of a 4-month-old infant on Thursday
Police say they got a 911 call about an infant choking on formula in June 2024.
The infant was taken to Norwalk Hospital, where she died, police said.
A police investigation and autopsy determined the infant's cause of death was caused by medical, nutritional neglect and necrotizing appendicitis.
Kyle Vigneault, 27, of Norwalk is charged with manslaughter in the first degree, risk of injury to a child and cruelty to persons.
His bond is set for $125,000 and he's due to appear in court on Feb. 27.
