A teen is accused of stabbing of another teen during a fight in Brightwaters last night, according to officials.

Suffolk County police said they responded to the back parking lot of 169 Orinoco Dr. just before 9 p.m. after receiving a 911 call about that altercation.

Police said they found the victim at the scene with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital, where he is in serious condition and being treated.

Police eventually arrested a 17-year-old, who they are not naming due to his age, at his home. They charged him with one count of second-degree gang assault.

The teen suspect was held overnight and is scheduled to face a judge for his arraignment in the Youth Part of First District Court in Central Islip later today.
