A Bridgeport teenager robbed another teen of their dirt bike at gunpoint, Trumbull police say.
It happened Tuesday around 5 p.m. near the "Rails to Trails" between White Plains Road and Quarry Road.
The 14-year-old victim told police he was riding his dirt bike when a group approached him.
One of the men in the group, Giovanni DeJesus, 19, pointed a handgun at the victim and ordered him to get off the bike.
DeJesus took the bike and rode off towards Bridgeport
Bridgeport police found DeJesus in the city and recovered the handgun, which had been modified to be fully automatic.
Police say DeJesus is a convicted felon with a history of weapon-related offenses.
The stolen bike was found in the basement of DeJesus' home and was returned to the victim.
DeJesus was charged with robbery, larceny and illegal possession of an assault weapon.
He was held on $300,000 bond.
