A woman was killed in Bridgeport in what police are calling a domestic violence killing.
Krystal Alston, a 27-year-old University of Connecticut graduate and mother, was killed on Seaview Avenue Monday night.
"We do have some video surveillance which captures the incident ... police did develop strong leads on the suspect early on, which we were able to track down shortly after coming on scene," said Detective Hanson.
Ricardo Robinson, the identified suspect, was found dead yesterday at St. Michael's Cemetery from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Authorities credited interagency collaboration and surveillance for quickly developing leads.
Alston's family and community remember her as a proud and vibrant individual.
