        Bedford Park HS students learn how to protect themselves

        More than 200 students at the Academy of Mount St. Ursula got a lesson in self-defense Monday as nonprofit Always Be Vigilant spoke to them about violence prevention.
        Two incidents over the past week have targeted teenagers according to police, including one in Bedford Park where a 14-year-old was robbed at gunpoint.

        Students at the all-girls high school say some of the things they learned during the presentation they’ll put to use immediately.
