yesterdayA driver operating a Chevy Trailblazer crashed into multiple vehicles in Clifton on Tuesday, resulting in one death.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Getty Avenue and Crooks Avenue around 11:39 a.m.
The Chevy Trailblazer, operated by a 35-year-old female from Madison, drove at a high rate of speed into a busying intersection, striking multiple vehicles - a Honda Civic, a Dodge Ram Truck, a Toyota RAV4 and a Volkswagen Jetta.
The driver of the Honda Civic, a 52-year-old male from Newton, was pronounced dead at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center.
The other victims sustained injuries not considered life-threatening.
Initial reports incorrectly stated that a pedestrian was killed, but further investigation revealed that no pedestrians were injured in the collision.
