Sweet, friendly, smart and affectionate are some of the words volunteers at Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption use to describe 5-year-old Remy.

"Her journey hasn’t been the easiest—she was being sold on Facebook, where it was proudly noted she’d never been bred, likely in hopes of attracting buyers with the wrong intentions," Best Friend explains in Remy's online biography. "But Remy’s story took a turn for the better."

A bulldog mix who loves car rides and cuddling, Remy is healthy and fully vetted. She's described as medium-sized at 40 pounds. Volunteers say she's also tolerant and gentle. She's great with kids, other dogs and kids. She's also housebroken and crate-trained and knowns some basic commands.

"Remy is looking for a forever family that will cherish her not for what she can give, but simply for who she is a loyal, loving soul who’s waited patiently to be someone’s everything," the shelter says online.
