A water main in Norwalk had to be shut off for emergency work, causing some residents to experience low pressure or no water Saturday, officials say.
Officials with the Norwalk First Taxing District and Water Department say the main is located on Main Avenue, where restoration efforts are underway.
In a Facebook post, officials say contractors have begun working on the repair.
Customers around the West Rock Tank have low water pressure.
Customers who live near Park Street, Foxboro Drive, Sier Hill Road and Oakwood Avenue have no water.
Officials say customers who experience cloudy or discolored water once service is restored should flush their cold water lines until the water runs clear.
Anyone with questions can contact the department's customer service center at 1-203-847-7387.
