        Officials: 1 person hospitalized after 2 boats go up in flames in Port Washington

        News 12 has learned two boats went up in flames in Nassau County early this morning.
        The incident happened at the Manhasset Bay Marina in Port Washington at 12:30 AM.
        Nassau police say crews responded to a 43-foot Marine Trader boat full engulfed, and the fire spread to a nearby 42-foot boat.
        A total of eight fire departments responded, as well as the Nassau Fire Marshall, the Arson Bomb Squad and the Marine Bureau. It took firefighters about two hours to get the fire under control.
        Police say a 58-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital and was treated for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
        The cause of the fire is unclear.
