Police say safety is a top priority at Bethpage Black for the Ryder Cup.
State police say hundreds of law enforcement officers from across Long Island and the state will be deployed on patrol on and around the course.
There will also be helicopters, drones, K-9 dogs and special operations response teams patrolling the area to keep patrons safe.
Officials say even if you do not see officers, they will be stationed everywhere.
"We will have plain clothed individuals, plain clothed law enforcement members integrating into the crowds to help keep us informed to help us identify any problem areas, any problem groups or any problem people so we can address them before those problems grow,” says Major Stephen Udice, New York State Police Troop L.
State police say there are no credible threats, but they continue to monitor the situation.
