Fans at Bethpage Black have become known for raising the volume, and that will be especially true when the Ryder Cup comes to Long Island next week.
When the U.S. and Europe square off, fans will let players hear it - and Team Europe is trying to prepare.
Team captain Luke Donald gave each player a virtual reality headset that simulates the course and the crowd noise.
Long Island golfers News 12 spoke with said a New York crowd can't be simulated - it has to be experienced.
