A NYPD officer accused of committing sex crimes against a child was taken into custody on Wednesday night.
Joshua Acosta, 39, is facing a slew of charges including rape, sexual misconduct and course of sexual conduct against a child.
Polices sources say the charges are domestic in nature and internal affairs are handling the investigation.
