        Police: 45-year-old man stabbed in chest aboard a 4 train in Mott Haven

        The NYPD says it responded to a call of a man stabbed at the 138th Street Subway Station off the Grand Concourse.

        Police say a man has been hospitalized following a stabbing at a train station in Mott Haven.
        The NYPD says it responded to a call of a man stabbed at the 138th Street Subway Station off the Grand Concourse at 2:57 a.m.
        Police say the stabbing happened in a 4 train cart, where the attacker stabbed a 45-year-old man in the chest. The man was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where police say he is expected to make a full recovery.
        As for the suspect, police say the person is still on the loose. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
