Prosecutor: 17-year-old dies following shooting in Trenton
2h agoA 61-year-old Perth Amboy man, Jorge Lopez, faces vehicular homicide and DWI charges in connection with a fatal crash that killed a 25-year-old motorcyclist.
The Aug. 23 accident occurred around 6 p.m. at Kamm Road and Convery Boulevard.
Police say Lopez, allegedly driving drunk, struck motorcyclist Michael Fernandez, who was turning onto Convery Boulevard. Lopez then collided with another vehicle.
Fernandez was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Lopez turned himself in last Friday.
