1h agoIf you're looking for a job, the Wegmans that's coming to Norwalk is hiring, and there's a big hiring event going on today.
Wegmans is trying to get way ahead of its opening. The food market store is hosting an open interview hiring event to immediately fill hundreds of full and part-time positions for this location.
Available positions include entry level management and food service roles in culinary and perishable departments.
Job seekers are encouraged to fill out an application online in advance of the event, however, interviews will also be provided to walk-in applicants Tuesday.
The hiring event is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 40 Richards Ave. in Norwalk.
"I think the food experience, the culture that we're going to bring, it's going to be a great thing for the community," said Wegmans Norwalk store manager Emily Reynolds.
