The NYPD says they have arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager from East New York.

The suspect is facing charges including manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

The incident occurred Saturday evening when 17-year-old Deaza Barkley was shot in the head in Jamaica, Queens.

First responders found her unconscious at the scene and she was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.
