NYPD: 16-year-old slashed with scalpel as teens fight outside of Bronx school

EMS took the victim to BronxCare Health System in stable condition.

Police say a fight among teenagers led to the slashing of a 16-year-old boy.
The incident happened in June outside of P.S./I.S. 218 Rafael Hernandez Dual Language Magnet School in The Bronx. Police say the 16-year-old boy was in a physical fight with two other teens between 16 and 17 years old. One of the boys slashed the victim with a surgical scalpel before punching and kicking him multiple times, according to police.
EMS took the victim to BronxCare Health System in stable condition. The other two teens left the scene.
