North Water Street in Norwalk will be closed from Washington Street to Marshal Street through Friday, city officials have announced.

The road will be closed in both directions.

City officials say the closure is due to work on the walk bridge project. They say giant cranes and machinery will be used to prepare the high tower wires for removal

Drivers are asked to use alternative routes, but people will still be able to work through the area during the closure.
