As overhead wire repairs take place near the Mount Tabor stop on the Morris and Essex Lines, commuters might experience delays until further notice.
NJ Transit says repairs are impacting the Morristown Line, which will operate on a modified schedule. Officials say they continue to deal with overhead wire problems but say repairs are underway.
While repairs continue, commuters can expect some changes to their normal routine. Some morning trains might not be running, and some stations won’t have service like the Morris Plains and the Mount Tabor stations.
Several trains are also being rerouted as they’ll now run on the Montclair-Boonton Line between Denville and Newark Broad Street.
NJ Transit says repairs should take a few days and until then, commuters should give themselves some extra travel time.
More information about the changes can be found on the NJ Transit app or at njtransit.com.
