Nassau police are asking the public to help identify two men who robbed a 78-year-old man in a North Bellmore parking lot.
Detectives say the victim was backing out of a parking spot at North Shore Farms on Saturday afternoon when he was approached by two men.
One of them allegedly punched the victim’s car, claiming he was hit by it. That's when both men began yelling and threatening the man while demanding money. He ended up giving them $600.
The suspects then took off west on Jerusalem Avenue in a white Maserati.
Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to reach out to Nassau police.
