After already enjoying two consecutive days of mild to warm weather, the Lower Hudson Valley keeps the streak going on Wednesday with an early summer feel. Highs will reach the low to mid‑70s under mostly cloudy skies.
While much of the daytime should stay dry, a few showers or thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon, with a greater likelihood of storms Wednesday evening and overnight as a cold front moves through.
That front ushers in a sharp but brief cool-down for Thursday, knocking temperatures back into the 40s and keeping brisk winds in place. It will feel noticeably cooler compared to earlier in the week, so lighter jackets will be a good call. Fortunately, the chill doesn’t stick around long. By Friday, temperatures begin climbing again as warmer air returns just in time for Easter weekend.
Saturday looks warm and pleasant with highs back into the 70s, continuing the late spring to early summer vibe. Easter Sunday stays mild as well, with upper 60s to near 70 degrees, though rain and possibly thunderstorms are more likely late in the afternoon and evening. Keep rain gear handy over the next several days, but also plan to enjoy plenty of dry and enjoyable daytime hours as spring warmth reasserts itself.
