One of the area’s biggest tag sales is on this weekend — Minks to Sinks is back at by the Wilton High School tennis courts.
If you've never been to Minks to Sinks, you’ll find hundreds of thousands of items at a great deal.
The sale, a semi-annual event since 1931, benefits the Family and Children's Agency, which has an adoption agency and provides elder care, after-school programs, and mental health care.
"This is a crucial event for the agency," said Kim Healy with Minks to Sinks.
"It's a labor of love but we are all very dedicated," Healy said.
Items for sale include cookware, electronics, toys, pet and baby supplies.
"Twice a year we are able to fill these tents with local people donating," said Healy.
Last year, the event raised over $100,000.
More than 150 volunteers are involved with the sale.
"We have a lot of dedicated volunteers who some of us work year round. I personally am a former chair and now I handle operations which is getting all the services and things that are needed to get this sale underway," said Healy.
All donations made to Minks to Sinks are tax-deductible.
Sale dates are Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
        Sunday everything is half off.
On Monday, you can fill a bag for $10.
