        Police: Man stabbed to death in East New York home, suspect on the loose

        The incident occurred inside an apartment at 406 Van Siclen Ave., near the intersection with Sutter Avenue.

        A 44-year-old man was fatally stabbed inside a home in East New York early Monday, police said.
        Officers responded to a 911 call around 12:47 a.m. at 406 Van Siclen Ave., where they found Jermaine Morant with a stab wound to the chest, according to the NYPD.
        EMS transported him to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
        Sources said there was a gathering inside the home at the time of the stabbing.
        No arrests have been made.
        On Monday, detectives canvassed the neighborhood, knocking on doors in search of witnesses.
