Man shoved onto subway tracks in Brooklyn, NYPD looking for attacker

The incident happened just before midnight on the northbound D train platform at the Atlantic Avenue–Pacific Street station.

A 61-year-old man was pushed onto the subway tracks at a Brooklyn station late Saturday night, and police are now searching for the person responsible.
The incident happened just before midnight on the northbound D train platform at the Atlantic Avenue–Pacific Street station. According to police, the victim got into a verbal dispute with an unknown man who suddenly shoved him off the platform and onto the tracks.
Bystanders helped the victim climb back onto the platform before a train arrived. He suffered a laceration to his face and was taken to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Police have released surveillance video of the person responsible, who was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, a white hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
