Police say a 29-year-old man was shot in the face at the NYCHA Kingsborough Houses in Weeksville.

Officers responded to 308 Kingsborough 3rd Walk just after 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

EMS took the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County where he is expected to recover, according to authorities.

The NYPD is searching for a man who ran from the scene traveling westbound on Pacific Street. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket.
