Police are searching for the man behind a gunpoint robbery at a Fordham 7-Eleven on Thursday just after 2 p.m.

According to police, the man wanted walked into the store at 1845 Webster Ave., held the 27-year-old employee at gunpoint, and demanded money from the register. He took about $1,500 in cash and ran off.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers hotline.
