This morning, we're kicking off our series Main Street, Long Island and we are out in our local communities talking to Long Islanders and featuring some local businesses as well. Jen Selig is in Say this morning and started off for us or a nice turn out there, Jen. Good morning. A great turn out. Good morning. We are live here at the Sayville be right here on Main Street with a bunch of local businesses here. We got Andrew Bell, the owner of the coffee shop. We also got South Quarter here, Long Island Strong. We got the Sayville Chocolate Tier number 12. We love that. We got Sayville Cheese and we got Everly and co we are having so much fun this morning. We want to emphasize shop, locals, speaking with your customers, walking by. You've been around for 40 years here. Your mom started. This store has been around for 43 years. Yes. My mom, my mom started it. Yeah. What's the cool part about having the business here on Main Street? Uh Well, we love the town. I grew up in Bayport. I live in now with my own kids. It's just a very warm loving environment and to pair some chocolate with some cheese here, we got Sayville cheese, Christine and her fiance here. You guys opened up the business two years ago and you're right down the street right across the street and we opened two years in September. So what's so cool about starting your own local business? The community really, the community really brought us here with their recommendations and what they wanted and I'm here for it. So they come in and they sample cheeses and they walk out happy everly. And co has been here for two months right across the street as well. And we were live at 7 30 we had some fans and folks come visit us. We got David eight year old David on his way to school, but he wanted to stop by and get some cool News 12. What do you love about New 12? But, well, it tells you all about the local stuff that's happening in the world and, and, and New 12 is in our town and News 12 is awesome. Right. Yeah, great job. So again, we'll be here going through different towns across Long Island, speaking with you guys, our loyal Long Islanders back to you guys. I love it. Sign him up, get him a job application. Tell him to come on down to Beth Page because that's where our studios are. We need him, get him one of those blue News 12 shirts. Get him to work.

All right, starting this morning. We're on main Street. Long Island. Yes, we are out in our local communities talking to Long Islanders and featuring local businesses to Jen Selig is in, say to kick us off with this special series. Hi, Jen. Oh my gosh. I love this series already starting so early in different towns at the coffee shop. Say they be got my coffee here this morning and we're with local businesses. And yourself speaking with so many Long Islanders this morning as they are getting their cup of Joe, we got Everly and Co she opened up her store across the street two months ago. We got say cheese, get it cut. We also have Sayville Chocolate Tier the 12 for News. 12. Very creative. And we also have South Quarter who started Long Island Strong Island. I see these decals all the time on cars, driving on the L I E. You guys are awesome local businesses. We love to support that. Right. Oh, yeah, absolutely. I mean, that's what Long Island Strong is really all about it. Just, you know, big up the Long Island community, the small businesses, the charities, the local businesses. Are really where we love to collaborate. We even have the just be chilling South Quarter and Long Island strong did the collaboration with the Stable Bean right here when they opened up. And it's been awesome. You know, people really, really accepting of it. They love going into South Quarter or Stable Bean and seeing, you know, the collaboration and the business is working together. It's a really wonderful thing is such a cute quaint town. I mean, I know the was open this morning at five, but you guys came early, you guys all work together with businesses. Oh, absolutely. This town in particular is wonderful, especially, you know, with the chamber. We have the festivals on the street. They put together really lovely events. Several summer fest is coming up, which is always huge. The town itself is just really great and the residents as well. Wow, they couldn't be more accepting of small businesses. It's wonderful. And I'm not lying here when people walk by, they actually like say hello to you. It's like they know you, they say they love your store and that means everything from local businesses here across Long Island. Yes, absolutely. Very, very friendly town. But I mean, it just goes to show when you walk through town, you get the vibe, you feel you feel the mood when you come through. We're going to be here throughout the morning. We got our news, 12 team over there handing out some swag. So come on down here on main street and say, and say hi to us again. We'll be here throughout the morning. Erin and Rich. That's great.
