"Savor the Bronx" Restaurant week is gearing up for a comeback.
The Bronx culinary event will take place next month after a four-year hiatus.
"I hope it brings more business and people to my restaurant" added Antonio Vilchis, of Mexicocina in Mott Haven.
"Savor the Bronx" highlights the Bronx's diverse restaurants and eateries.
So far, about 40 neighborhood restaurants have signed up for the six-day event.
Owner Sonia Calixto hopes the event will help struggling restaurants,
"It's a great opportunity for small businesses to bring more foot traffic to the area," explained Calixto.
The deadline for restaurants to apply is Jan. 31.
The event runs from Feb. 18 through Feb. 23.
